Hi! July has been such a fun month over here. I explored more of Idaho and went to Red Fish Lake for the 4th. A beautiful lake right next to the Sawtooth Mountains. It was stunning! Reminded me of Lake Tahoe. I went to Chicago for my new job and got to see some old friends. I also spent a lot of time walking and working out; mostly due to a challenge at work. My July favorites are a wide array of items per usual. I hope you love them!
1. Gold Cowboy Boots –
These boots are show stopping! I wasn’t sure about them at first but I am so glad I went for it because I love them! The heel height isn’t high. The boot shaft is taller which I love. If gold isn’t your deal, they come in other colors too.
2. Churro Tortilla Chips –
Such a delicious treat! These are made with very few, quality ingredients and are gluten free. I love them as is but they would also be a great vanilla ice cream topping.
3. Kala Hard Kombucha –
I tried this for the first time at the lake and it is now a go-to. The perfect low alcohol sipping drink and way better than a lot of seltzers in my opinion. I love that these are low sugar, low calorie and good for your gut.
4. Contour Tank Top –
The most practical of the July favorites is this tank. It is snug while still being comfortable. It is thick enough to not be see through as well. I got the cropped tank version to wear with trousers for work. It also comes in bodysuits, v-neck tanks and more.
5. Platform Air Force Ones –
Give me two pairs! I need two pairs! Hopefully you catch the song reference there, but in all seriousness I love these. I got them for a crazy deal at an outlet store and have zero regrets. I wore them for the first time when traveling and walking around Chicago. They need no break in time making them comfortable, all while being cute and on trend. I feel like a cool girl in these!
6. Feather Strapless Top –
The feather trend is still going. This top is affordable while not looking cheap. The white is also thick enough to not be see through. Also this website is the best kept secret; so many good finds.
7. Hair Wax Stick for slick buns –
If you wear any slick back style you need this. It tames all the flyaway hairs and gives you the sleek look.
8. Floral Ruched Top –
I’m not sure how this top is on such a good sale and in stock, but I’d snag it now. It is the perfect brown and white floral fall top. The sleeves are especially stunning. This will be great for fall outfits.
9. Zucchini Fritters Recipe –
The perfect recipe for zucchini season! These fritters are decently healthy and absolutely delicious. These would make a fun unique side for your next summer barbeque.
10. Lessons in Chemistry Book –
Another great book. Set in the early 1960s, where woman were typically housewives and not well respected by men, Elizabeth Zott breaks the mold and goes against everything woman are “supposed” to do.
